Get involved, help out and volunteer at Brooklands

The Brooklands Centre is a charity run by a dedicated number of volunteers for the benefit the local community. The only paid member of staff is our Day Centre manager and our cleaner.

We are always pleased to welcome new volunteers to assist in the running of our lovely new Centre. The majority of groups that we currently run are on Monday to Thursday during the day and once a month on a Saturday. There are opportunities to assist in driving (we have two vehicles), escort duties, cooking and help in the kitchen, running of activities or talking to some of the members. If you have a particular skill/craft/interest you would be willing to share e.g. Music, singing, dancing, photography, computer skills etc we would like to hear from you.

All our volunteers are CRB checked, which we will arrange for you and for certain positions e.g. cook a Food Hygiene Certificate is required. Training can be arranged.
