FOOD - FUN - FRIENDS - FOR THE OVER 55s

Without our volunteers, there would be no Brooklands Centre and no FOOD - FUN - FRIENDS - FOR THE OVER 55s.
So, today, we thanked our fantastic team for all their hard work and many years of giving up their time. We had a bit of a party!
Over 50 of us came together and had a wonderful time. There were smiles, chat and laughter all round - with a delicious buffet and a splash of alcohol too!
There was also sadness, however, as our long-serving and dedicated Chair of Trustees, Catherine Hall, stepped down, passing the baton to Sandy Payne.
We all thanked Catherine for her many years of selfless service and Sandy presented her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Catherine will stay on as a Trustee and will continue to be an active Volunteer - at the Saturday Lunch Club, for example.
It was a wonderful and fun occasion. Many thanks to Irene and her team for organising, and to everyone for attending and making it such a success.
